Preferred Subjects:Physics, Study Skills/Organization, Algebra, Calculus, General Math, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, SAT Math, Trigonometry, and Computer Skills
Experience:I've never tutored before, except for helping my classmates and my younger friends with their problem sets. They often tell me that my ability to explain something in a variety of ways helps; I usually try to find a good connection with something familiar, too.

My SAT /AP scores... geez. I got a 1440, on the 1600 scale. 800 math, 640 verbal. I got 800 on the Math SATIIC, 740 on the Physics SATIIC, and a 5 on the following APs: calc, chem, physics c - mechanics, computer science (the hard version, during the C++ era), and a 4 on the physics c - electricity and magnetism. I (more recently) took the GRE and got an 800 (94%ile) on the math, a 550 (73%ile) on the verbal, and a 5.5 on the analytical writing (88%ile). Additionally, I received an 870 out of 990 (85%ile) on the Physics subject GRE.

While at MIT I've taken a bunch of physics and math classes.

Math: Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Analysis, Complex Variables, Theory of Computation, Information and Entropy, Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs

Physics: Classical Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism (introduction and hard-core physics major versions), Waves & Vibrations, Relativity, Statistical Physics, Quantum Physics 1-3, Experimental Physics 1+2, String Theory for Undergraduates, The Early Universe, Quantum Computation, and I'm currently taking General Relativity.

I've worked as an undergraduate researcher in the Plasma Science and Fusion Center, simulating a piece of a future electron collider, and the Applied Mathematics Fluids Lab, doing experiments and analyzing data.
