| Experience: | I'm currently a PhD student in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT, and have a perfect GPA. I have tutored high school students in math before and have been a teaching assistant at MIT with rave reviews for three semesters! (Being a teaching assistant at MIT is only a one term requirement but I enjoy teaching so much I did it twice more.)
I'm Canadian and went to undergrad at McGill University in Montreal, where I also graduated at the top of my class with a perfect GPA. We don't have SAT exams in Canada but I did take the GREs (graduate equivalent of SATs taken in 2002) before coming to the US - my math section score was 800/800 and my logic score was 750/800, which put me well in the top 3%.
I have taken more than a dozen math classes covering linear algebra, trigonometry, general math, 4 levels of caculus, and 2 levels of differential equations, plus several more. So I love math and enjoy teaching it and helping people learn it as well.
Beyond that I have extensive work experience - please let me know and I can send you my resume. |
| Hobbies: | I'm very active in the student community - I've served on my dorm government for 3 years, served on the MIT ring committee, danced on the MIT bhangra team that competes nationally, been the lead organizer of MIT conference on entrepreneurship (held in Spa |
